I love the shimmer of the light on the water, but I find that some of the real dark spots that interrupt that effect, are a bit of a negative aesthetic. I think water is sometimes the best flat, like a carpet, where there are reflections and a near transparent surface. Technique wise though, I think you nailed everything you wanted to put in this picture,
